DB wanted to instil passion and knowledge of their history, vision, purpose and values. This was to play to an internal audience, and also as an induction tool to new recruits. The reaction to the video was so positive, they commissioned a condensed version to be used as an external recruitment tool.
We filmed spontaneous moments with staff indicative of the 5 values featured in the video. Everyone from the CEO to factory workers were captured having fun, working hard, and working together. Also, the amazing history of DB, its ups and downs, and how important its place in NZ’s culture and heritage has been. We used archival film and photographs for the historical section, and high- end imagery to emphasise the quality of the brand. The resulting video is fun, informative and aspirational.
